Our Team

Steve Dare, ARM, ALCM, is the agency owner. He has been in the insurance industry for 29 years and established the agency in 2000. He is an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and an Associate in Loss Control Management (ALCM). He is licensed in six states for Commercial Insurance and in two states for Life and Health. He has taught insurance and has written a number of insurance articles for various publications. He proudly served in the US Army, graduated from the Army War College, and retired as a Colonel.

Libbie Toth, for ten years, enjoyed working in the banking industry. In 1994, she made a career change and joined State Farm, where she remained until January, 2004. Immediately upon leaving there she began her association with the Dare Insurance Agency (Raleigh). She is licensed in Commercial Insurance, Life, Health, Long-term Care and Medicare Supplemental Insurance.

Stephanie Torrez specializes in Commercial Insurance. She holds licenses in both North and South Carolina. She joined the Dare Insurance Agency in 2004, following successful careers (11 years) in both sales and education. Her office is in Charlotte, North Carolina.
